The festival is free of charge and open to the general public.
The purpose of the Festival is to promote Turkey, its rich and diverse culture. It is the FTAA’s goal that festival goers will get the opportunity to celebrate, learn about and savor Turkish hospitality, culture and cuisine.
The festival’s highlights will include performances by Turkish Folk Dance Group performing Turkey’s famous traditional and distinctive dances, Band, Music and Belly Dancing. The festival will offer delicious Turkish fare available for purchase, such as doner kebap (spinning roast), grilled kofte (ground meat with spices), borek (cheese and spinach filled pastry), baklava and Turkish coffee, to name a few of the delicacies. There will even be traditional fortune tellers reading fortunes from coffee grinds in the special coffee tent. We will host demonstrations of Turkish arts such as paper marbling (Ebru), with festival goers having the opportunity to purchase these art forms. Free children’s activities include face painting and balloon sculpting, making the festival a family affair.
Thank you all attendees, volunteers, vendors, and FTAA directors. Detailed list of sponsors, volunteers will be announced in our website soon.
